The Journey

After experiencing my own personal losses young, I experienced and saw firsthand the gaps in bereavement care. I set out to pursue my MSW to walk alongside those navigating grief in a society that is uncomfortable by it. I've spent my entire 8 year career in bereavement and hospice care, walking alongside those navigating the experiences of caregiving, end of life, grief, and identity. I bring deep experience and training in pediatric and adult pallative & hospice care, caregiving support, and grief counseling.

Outside of my own loss, I also recognize the beautiful complexities of caregiving and navigating special needs, chronic illness, or illness. As a sister to a medically complex sibling and a daughter of two individuals with disabilities myself, I hold the needed space for identity, accessibility, and the challenges of navigating our systems.

I believe that we all can have and bear witness to the sacred spaces of grief, in all the shapes and sizes it comes in. I challenge the narrative of grief in our society, aiming to make our culture more grief-informed and aware. Grief is not something we "move on" from, but rather integrate it into our whole being. It is ever present, growing and evolving alongside us, lifelong.

In this space, I recognize the honor and privilege it is to be invited into your sacred space. I will walk alongside you, listening to and supporting  the true expert in your grief and journey-- you.

Professional Approach

My approach is rooted in that we need to be seen as a human first. My work is relational-- you will get someone who laughs with you, cracks jokes, and holds space for all life brings. In this space, we can laugh, cry, curse, and meet our basic needs. We hold the both/and, recognizing that it all coexists.
